Data Logging and Offloading with Teledyne Optech CL-360HD #
Since firmware version 4.0.0.0, the RESEPI system supports data logging and offloading for the Teledyne Optech CL-360HD. These features are intended for experienced users and are not recommended for beginners. Follow the steps below to collect and offload data:
Power On the Unit
- Start by powering up the RESEPI Teledyne Optech CL-360HD unit.
Connect to a Computer
- Use a data cable with a LEMO connector (part number: FGG.0T.309 or a compatible connector) connected to an RJ45 ethernet cable to link the Teledyne Optech scanner to a computer.
- Note: For detailed instructions on connecting to the Teledyne Optech CL-360HD, refer to the Teledyne Optech CL-360HD Integration Manual.
Verify Connection
- Open a web browser on the computer and navigate to the IP address: 192.168.219.150. This should display Optech’s web GUI.
Configure Settings
- Within the web GUI, configure settings according to the owner’s manual provided by Teledyne for the Optech CL-360HD.
- Enable logging as required, then proceed with data acquisition. Once acquisition is complete, move on to the next step.
- Note: It is advisable to perform a bench test before field acquisitions to ensure proper configuration of settings.
Connect Using FTP Client
- Open an FTP client and connect to the scanner using the following details:
- IP Address: 192.168.219.150
- Username: public
- Password: public

Locate Scanned Projects
- After connecting via FTP, navigate to the
/PROJECTSdirectory and locate the/SURVEYSfolder where scanned projects are stored.
- After connecting via FTP, navigate to the
Transfer or Delete Data
- Transfer and/or delete data from the folder as needed.
By following these steps, you can effectively log and manage data using the Teledyne Optech CL-360HD with the RESEPI system.
